This pretty lace is on it’s original card board package, and it’s so pretty I’m still waiting for that extra special project to use it on.
Which, now I think about it, really is the downside of collection precious vintage notions. They are lovely, and I’d want to be surrounded by them all the time, as I firmly believe that being surrounded by beautiful things makes a life so much better.
But they are also precious, and often one of a kind, and I don’t want to waste them on a sub-optimal project, like a cardigan I’m not going to wear or a nightgown that’s going to sit in my wardrobe.
Do you, dear reader, have similar issues and worries, I wonder?
