Queen Anne’s cardigan – update

Queen Anne's Cardigan update

This is, considering the bulk on the needle, a pleasant knit. The lace edging is simple enough to be memorized easily, but interestingly enough for keeping me from banging my head into the next wall over all these super-long rows on my current projects.

The colour is not really as pink as it appears in this photo, but more of a burgundy, and the Rowan Classic – 100% merino is supersoft. And superwarm.

Which has put a wee bit of a stopper on this one, as the current temperatures here in Brighton are higher than at any time in the last 2 months. Ah, let’s foregot politeness – any time during this sorry excuse for a summer we had. And of course this is the weekend I had to work. Ah, well – don’t they say sun gives you skin cancer?

Love all things vintage, especially knitting from the victorian era through to the swinging twenties.
